Finally, the torrential rain has gone and the summer weather has arrived! I'm just enjoying the weather and the change of pace, hope things are going sweet on your end. I'll keep it brief this time around.

Writing, working, what's new!

Things have been crazy recently. One of our sockets couldn't take any of our PC's power, so I had to shift everything over a few meters to make it work again. Work is very busy and also tiring. Finally hooked up with a bass player and traded ideas, seems like things are getting off on the right foot. Although there is a gulf in terms of age, I think there is some sort of link in terms of taste and musicianship, but god will take the necessary steps to see if he has what it takes.

Really digging the latest Smashing Pumpkins album 'Zeitgeist' especially the song 'That's The Way (My Love Is)' it's a really sweet love song both sonically and lyrically. The critics have had mixed reviews, many praised it, but many other popular rags slag it off just because of what it is, I guess it's just what some people call opinion.

Anyway, back to the notebook/notepad/computer etc, I'm off to get some rest and recoup before another day. Peace and love

Check out this awesome video from Buckethead, gets a little bit shreddy towards the end but still makes you want to throw your guitar in the trash.

Busy, busy, busy!

This week has been very busy (duh!)Doing all sorts of crazy stuff, finally got my broadband working so I can finally blog from home for a change. Beveled Edges is my platform for me to explore things that mean a lot to me in my life, music, faith and all sorts, but you might find a very political side to me that's just been recently awakened. I've realised that it's important to keep your eye on these things as they may become law, especially in these security conscious days. For now, I've got to rush off to church.

Welcome, come on in and read away!

I've finally left the confines of blogger and tried a different blog app and it doesn't seem bad at all.

This blog is my loudspeaker for a few political issues, music related stuff, faith, life and generally what's on my mind. I've been floating around in various guises on the blogsphere, but with a 'net connection imminent, I hope to keep thing updated on a daily basis. i'll be quick this time around, but watch for the next blog as i'll introduce myself more thoroughly.
